The fuel system of a car (or fuel supply system) is designed to supply fuel (gasoline or diesel fuel) from the fuel tank to the engine (more precisely, to the carburetor or nozzles). This system also provides fuel storage and purification before it is fed into the machine. Regardless of the type, any fuel system contains several main components: a fuel tank, fuel line system, fuel pump, fuel filter (or filters), a device for forming a fuel-air mixture or injecting fuel into cylinders.
When you need the fuel system service:
Difficulty engine starting
Significant engine reduction in engine power
Smoky exhaust
Gray exhaust
Engine is overheating
Increased fuel consumption
Increased fuel consumption
Increased engine noise
Misfiring is accompanied by several reasons, such as:
Failure of the high-pressure pump
Wear of its discharge elements
Setting an incorrect advance angle of diesel fuel supply to the engine
Excessive wear of atomizers, which leads to poor atomization of fuel
Deterioration of injection due to a decrease in pressure
Air gets into the system, which causes a shortage of fuel
The lift pump has failed
Faulty glow plugs
